Trees not only provide nutritious tasty fruits, shade, and wood but much-much more. They provide oxygen, recycle air, help pollution control, prevent soil erosion, absorb carbon dioxide, help in keeping the temperature lower, home for birds etc. The list is very long. They are essential to continuity of life.
How do we plan to go about it?
- Awareness and the desire to do good have given people the urge to plant trees. People living in big crowded cities have the desire to plant and nurture trees, but they lack the land and time for this. On the other hand, lots of folk in rural areas have the land, time, and desire to grow trees. This page will bring these two parties together.
- At present we have 8 informal Q.C. Shiksha Kendras running in as many different villages in Ayodhya district. All put together there are over 300 children in these Kendras. These schools are run by volunteers who came forward to give space in their premises for the Kendras and their time and effort. The volunteers do all this for free, as they believe that the future of their village lies in the education of children. The children studying here don't have to pay any fee.
- We plan to encourage a love for trees in these children. Whenever any well-wisher of this movement wants a tree to be planted for a special occasion, we'll give the responsibility to a child who'll be happy to do it around his/her dwelling place or family property/fields. Of course, Kiddy Kingdom Academy Samiti (the organization behind www.samoohikprayas.org ) will take care to provide saplings and any protection cum nurturing needs of the sapling. The child will receive a token incentive and his photo (along with the sapling) will appear in the plantation gallery for looking after the sapling/plant. He'll receive this token incentive every quarter on sending a geo-tagged photograph of himself along with the plant. This geo-tagged photo will find pride of place in our Planting Hope and Happiness photo gallery.
Our volunteers shall help the child by clicking and sending the geo-tagged photos. The photos will be taken such that the plaque on the plant carrying the relevant details is clearly visible in the photo. A rough estimate is that the tree may need nurturing for the first three years or so.

Birthdays/Anniversaries/ Marriage Gift/in Memory of a loved one who may have passed away/World Environment Day/any other occasion.
